Hey there, I’m James! born and raised in Savannah. I’ve always been drawn to creating things — whether that’s building something with my hands or capturing your story through a lens. Photography and filmmaking became my way of slowing time down and giving people something real to hold onto.
Faith is the foundation behind what I do. It keeps my heart in the right place and reminds me why this matters — to serve, to love people well, and to create with purpose and excellency.
I started Kodiak CRTV in 2023 as a way to combine my love for storytelling with my passion for genuine connection. Weddings, to me, aren’t just about the big moments, they’re about the quiet in-betweens — the way your hands shake before the first look, the way your friends erupt in laughter, the way sunlight hits your dress just before you walk down the aisle. Those are the moments that feel alive.
My approach is simple: stay present, tell the truth through beautiful moments, and make you feel comfortable enough to be truly yourself. I blend direction with documentary — stepping in when needed, but never forcing a moment.
